Care instructions:
- Use a Vacuum Cleaner regularly to avoid dirt accumulation.
- In case of stains, first clear off any excess moisture as soon as possible. Don’t rub, as this can cause the stain to set, and rubbing can fray the natural Jute fibers.
- Gently brush with a soft brush and water as immediate treatment.
- Dry immediately with a hairdryer or fan to avoid damage.
- If the stain is acidic, use soda water instead of water.
- For solids, gently scrape it off with a blunt knife or spatula.
- Occasional cleaning from a professional rug cleaning service is recommended.
- Due to the handmade nature, this also means that there will be some slight variation in weave, size and color throughout each rug, which is normal and can be attributed to the weavers who made them.
- We always recommend using rug pads to keep rugs in place as well as protecting your rug and your floors.
